Summary: | Appropriate management of hyperglycemia can significantly attenuate perinatal risks associated with a diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). This article reports on a study evaluating the independent associations of maternal income and education with select measures of GDM management. Additional studies are needed to determine the reasons for these differences and whether they exist in broader populations. |
