Description
Summary:A 37-year-old man who presented with one year history of lower back and right buttock pain was investigated with contrast enhanced computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography which revealed a diagnosis of primary fibroblastic osteosarcoma of the lumbar vertebra. This case highlights the importance of PET/CT imaging.
