The decision on therapeutic modality is based on an early and accurate diagnosis, minimizing disease-associated morbidity which is of utmost importance considering the young age and thereby resulting in better prognosis. Odontogenic myxoma is a locally aggressive lesion which is primarily seen in relation to odontogenic apparatus in mandibular posterior region in association with an impacted tooth.
