Summary:Thrombotic complications, in particular ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), have been described in active Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases. This is a result of systemic inflammation that often leads to endothelial activation, microvascular thrombosis and a hypercoagulable state. However, it is unknown how long patients who have cleared the COVID-19 infection remain at risk for coronary thrombosis as a sequela of disease burden. We present a case of a patient who presented three to four weeks following the initial infection.
