Summary:This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the benefits and harms of perioperative interruption versus continuation of biologic, conventional synthetic, and targeted synthetic disease modifying anti‐rheumatic drugs in people with inflammatory arthritis, in terms of worsening of underlying inflammatory disease and postoperative complications, such as infection and altered wound healing.
