LOS MODELOS ANIMALES EN LOS ACTUALES ESTUDIOS SOBRE EL APRENDIZAJE HUMANO

En el presente artículo se analizan las actuales aportaciones de la investigación animal a las nuevas concepciones sobre el aprendizaje humano. Se examinan tres áreas de indagación en las que se están produciendo importantes resultados cara al desarrollo de nuestras ideas acerca del aprendizaje humano. Se describe en primer lugar el estado actual de los estudios sobre el condicionamiento operante, herederos de la tradición skinneriana. En segundo lugar, se explican los minimodelos animales del comportamiento humano y su aplicación al estudio de conductas problemáticas y, finalmente, se trata de los nuevos puntos de vista en el condicionamiento pauloviano y su relación con las modernas teorías conexionistas recientemente aparecidas en la psicología cognitiva humana. Animal models in current studies on human learning.- In this paper, the current contributions of animal research to contemporary conceptions in human learning are analysed. Three areas of inquiry which are yielding important results to the progress of our ideas about human learning are examined. First, the current status of the studies of operant conditioning, belonging to the skinnerian tradition are described. Second, animal minimodels of human behavior and their application to the study of problematic behaviors are explained, and, finally, the new views about pavlovian conditioning and their relationship with the modem conexionist theories recently raised in human cognitive psychology are dealt with.
