Summary:Mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) were used as a nano-carrier/amplifier to develop a novel MSN-SERS probe for DNA MTase detection. High sensitivity, good selectivity, and rapid analysis are achieved. By combining mesoporous silica nanoparticles and surface-enhanced Raman scattering assisted strand-scission cycles, we developed an ultrasensitive and specific DNA methyltransferase detection method.
