Summary: | Some organic reactions involve long reaction times and high energy consumption. Herein, an improved method to accelerate the reactions by the employment of a high shear mixer is described. The produced emulsion minimizes the mass transfer resistance and reaction times, improves yields, and saves energy, in agreement with the Green Chemistry principles.
High shear mixing contributes to Green Chemistry, saves cost, and reduces long organic reaction times and solvent volume. |
