/PDA/MoS
2
was found to be a highly active photocatalyst for the α-methoxymethylation and aminomethylation of aromatic ketones by using methanol as a green C1 source under visible-light irradiation at room temperature. The photocatalyst could be recovered by magnetic separation and successfully reused for 5 cycles without considerable loss of catalytic activity.
