A copper-catalyzed four-component reaction of arylcyclopropanes, nitriles, carboxylic acids and -fluorobenzenesulfonimide: facile synthesis of imide derivatives

An unprecedented copper-catalyzed four-component reaction of arylcyclopropanes, nitriles, carboxylic acids and N -fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSI) has been successfully developed, which represents the first example of a four-component reaction of non-donor-acceptor cyclopropanes. A wide range of imid...

Description
Summary:An unprecedented copper-catalyzed four-component reaction of arylcyclopropanes, nitriles, carboxylic acids and N -fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSI) has been successfully developed, which represents the first example of a four-component reaction of non-donor-acceptor cyclopropanes. A wide range of imide derivatives were efficiently synthesized in excellent yields under mild conditions. An unprecedented copper-catalyzed four-component reaction of arylcyclopropanes, nitriles, carboxylic acids and N -fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSI) has been successfully developed, efficiently synthesizing diverse imide derivatives.
