The assembly of [MoOS] based on polydentate phosphonate templates and their proton conductivity

Description
Summary:The assembly of [Mo 2 O 2 S 2 ] 2+ units depends on the configuration of polydentate phosphonic acid templates, leading to novel topologies with enhanced nuclearity and complexity. The variation of the assembled structures also gives rise to distinct proton-conducting properties. This research reveals non-planar macrocyclic clusters, self-assembled from [Mo 2 O 2 S 2 ] 2+ units templated by organophosphates. These clusters serve as molecular-based proton conductors with high conductivity and ideal for studying proton transport mechanisms.
