Development of a by-product-free strategy for the synthesis of oxazoline from -acetylglucosamine

This study focused on the CDMBI-mediated synthesis of GlcNAc oxazoline. Through our research, we uncovered and characterized a previously unreported by-product. We proposed a mechanism for its formation and developed a new strategy to prevent its occurrence. These findings represent an important ste...

Description
Summary:This study focused on the CDMBI-mediated synthesis of GlcNAc oxazoline. Through our research, we uncovered and characterized a previously unreported by-product. We proposed a mechanism for its formation and developed a new strategy to prevent its occurrence. These findings represent an important step towards gaining a deeper understanding of this reaction and may provide a new avenue for optimizing the oxazoline synthesis. This study focused on the CDMBI-mediated synthesis of GlcNAc oxazoline.
