Summary:Abstract Obesity increases the risk of non-transmissible chronic illnesses decreasing the quality of life and life expectancy. This investigation aims to define a psychological profile for the treatment of the target population evaluating the levels of self-efficacy perceived, difficulty in emotional regulation and stress. Eighty-six adults participated, including 63 women and 23 men who pertained to OBEMOB in Temuco.
