Summary:Palabras clave: masculinidades, salud mental, análisis del discurso, intervención psicológica ABSTRACT In recent years, there has been a growing interest in reeducational work with men as a central part of the discourses linked to gender equality and social transformation. In Latin America and Mexico, masculinity as an object of intervention encompasses a variety of approaches aimed mainly at violence prevention and health promotion. The results show three thematic axes related to the construction of a male subject profile as a target of the intervention; the concepts of reeducation and learning as main guidelines; and body and emotional management as the core of male physical and mental health. Keywords: discourse analysis, masculinities, mental health, psychological intervention En la última década ha habido una proliferación de iniciativas de intervención psicológica y psicosocial en torno a hombres y masculinidades, impulsadas desde diversos sectores y enfoques. Gracias a los movimientos feministas y el avance de la perspectiva de género, en América Latina y otras regiones se ha establecido un amplio consenso sobre la importancia de implementar procesos preventivos y reeducativos con varones -abarcando aspectos identitarios, afectivos y relaciónales, vinculados con la salud mental- como elemento clave para combatir la violencia de género y fomentar el bienestar social y comunitario.
