Description
Summary:Strategies to manage the human factors in maintenance are documented in the maintenance management and human sciences spaces. However, it is unclear from the literature which indicators and measurements should be used for these factors. It is also unclear how to integrate them into traditional maintenance performance frameworks. This article summarises the maintenance human factors and measurements found in the literature. A systematic literature review of the most often cited human factors indicated a statistically significant correlation with the 'human factors analysis and classification system - maintenance extension' framework. A hierarchal maintenance measurement framework that includes these maintenance human factors is proposed.
