Simple multiple‐crystal x‐ray spectrograph

The design of a compact x‐ray spectrograph most useful in the 0.5–50‐keV region is described. Although developed primarily for plasma emission measurements it may also be useful for spectroscopy of other bright x‐ray sources, such as synchrotron radiation from storage rings.
