Summary:Techniques are presented for NMR measurements at high pressure in a diamond anvil cell. Two schemes of coupling radio frequency magnetic fields to the spins inside a metal gasket are described. As a demonstration of the techniques, the relaxation times T 1 and T 2 of methanol:ethanol solution have been measured to 52 kbar at room temperature.
