Summary:A method for calculating plastic anisotropy constants for Hill’s material with the cubic symmetry of plastic properties is proposed. The method is based on experimental data about the pressure of a rectangular flat indenter impressed into specimens having different orientations of the principal anisotropy axes. The proposed method can be used for calculating plastic anisotropy constants referring to small material volumes.
