Description
Summary:The viscous dissipation in the fluid flow refers to the transformation of the kinetic energy to the internal energy due to the viscosity of the fluid. The current work investigates the effect of viscous dissipation and radius ratio on the heat transfer characteristics and fluid flow behavior in an annular cone embedded with the porous medium. It is observed that the viscous dissipation effect leads to the decrease in the heat transfer rate from the external wall of the cone to the inner region of the geometry.
