Summary: | Alumina ceramics with magnesium are synthesized at various parameters of compacting, doping and annealing. Luminescent properties of obtained ceramics at temperatures 1400–1600 °C of sintering both in vacuum and in air are investigated. It was found that an increase in the concentration of magnesium leads to an increase in the pulse cathodoluminescence intensity both impurity center and intrinsic center of alumina ceramic. Annealing in the presence of carbon leads to a nearly threefold increase in the luminescence intensity of the magnesium band. |
