On self-aligning of atomic states in a segmented hollow cathode discharge

The coherence of type (self-) alignment of excited atoms is established and studied in the segmented hollow cathode discharge (SHCD). Two anisotropic interactions, generating (self-) alignment, namely beamlike electron – atom and light beam-atom are identified. The (self-) alignment atoms are found...

Description
Summary:The coherence of type (self-) alignment of excited atoms is established and studied in the segmented hollow cathode discharge (SHCD). Two anisotropic interactions, generating (self-) alignment, namely beamlike electron – atom and light beam-atom are identified. The (self-) alignment atoms are found to bring specific, i.e. coherent conductance to their ensemble.
