Absence of embedded eigenvalues for translationally invariant magnetic Laplacians

Translationally invariant bidimensional magnetic Laplacians are considered. Using an improved version of the harmonic approximation, we establish the absence of a point spectrum under various assumptions on the behavior of the magnetic field.
