Growth, structural, optical and ferroelectric properties of L-proline doped sodium acid phthalate hemihydrate single crystals
Pure and 1% L-proline (LP) doped sodium acid phthalate hemihydrate (SAPH) semi-organic crystals have been grown by slow evaporation technique at room temperature. Summary: | Pure and 1% L-proline (LP) doped sodium acid phthalate hemihydrate (SAPH) semi-organic crystals have been grown by slow evaporation technique at room temperature. The lattice parameters of the pure and 1% LP doped SAPH crystals were determined using single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Powder XRD studies show relative intensities higher for 1% LP doped SAPH. The lower cut off wavelength of both pure and 1% L-proline doped SAPH crystal is 300 nm. The ferroelectric property of the pure and 1% L-proline doped SAPH crystal was confirmed by hysteresis loop studies. |
