Summary:The paper addresses the issue of universities ratings calculation. Such ratings were not initially perceived as an important indicator, however, today, the condition and financial position of higher education institutions depend on them. The purpose of the research is to develop an algorithm for construction of higher education institutions rating based on the information of the success of these institutions graduates. The algorithm foresees the search, downloading and processing of data from the Internet and the subsequent use of the results obtained to calculate the coefficient, which is assigned as a rating to the corresponding university.
