Summary: | Physicochemical properties of platinum-alumina catalysts with the support prepared by mixing aluminum and gallium hydroxides were investigated: textural characteristics, phase composition, platinum dispersion and acidity. The activity of Pt/хGa–Al systems toward methane conversion was studied under nonoxidizing conditions at moderate temperatures (T≤823 K). The effect of gallium content on the catalytic properties of samples in the joint conversion of chemisorbed CHx particles and n−C5H12 was elucidated. |
