Summary: | Two-level database is proposed for engineering companies. The first level is a unified information system of company, combining regulatory, reference and other materials, and the second level is a database for a specific project. A methodology of project database automated formation has been developed. It provides tabular and graphical input of parameters necessary for optimization synthesis of facilities layout for oil and gas processing companies on high relief. Both data input methods are algorithmically and software interconnected. Concepts of dialogue and program tables are proposed and used. When working with dialogue tables, an automated import of initial data necessary for the design from the unified information system of company into program tables is provided. The use of proposed methodology in the development of optimal facilities layout confirmed its effectiveness for various design cases. |
