Summary:The space debris problem is becoming more and more relevant with the increasing availability of space. Thus, the necessity to equip new spacecrafts with special disposal devices arises. Design and technology issues of small spacecraft’s inflatable aerodynamic decelerator (IAD) were analyzed.
