Summary: | In the present work manganese ferrite thin film has been used to study their effect on bacterial biofilm formation. Thin films of manganese ferrite nanoparticle were deposited by thermal evaporation technique on a glass substrate. Structural characterization of the MnFe2O4 deposited thin film was performed by XRD, TEM and SEAD pattern. SEM used to find out morphological characteristics of the film and elemental analysis was done with the help of EDS analysis. S.aureus (gram positive) and E.coli uncoated glass substrate was accomplished through fluorescent microscopy and acridine orange dye used to stain bacteria. In the initial research work it was found that MnFe2O4 coated glass substrate strongly inhibit the bacterial biofilm formation. |
