Description
Summary:LAPAN-A4 satellite is the next microsatellite under development in satellite technology centre LAPAN. One of payload on LAPAN-A4 satellite is SWIR camera. SWIR camera is provide by Xenics, with specifications array type using InGaAs, spectral band 1.45 – 1.66 µm, pixels 2,048, pixel pitch 12.5 µm, frame rate 10 kHz, 14 bit processing data, interface using based camera link (CL), power input 12 V, and operating temperature -40°C to 80°C. The aim of this research is to determine of radiometric characterization the SWIR camera image in conditions without illumination and illumination, and hope to be reference of pre-flight data. Methodology in this research, consists of measurement, image processing, analysis, and conclusion. In measurement step, there are two step of measurement are dark measurement, and flat field measurement using integrating sphere as uniform light source. The result of this research shows that the characteristic of the SWIR camera are dark image influenced by temperature, exposure time has a nonlinear pattern, the gain used is the device gain has an optimal value at 13, the camera offset has a fluctuating pattern that is low value in multiples of 20,000 and the highest value in multiples of 15,000 but the best setting in SWIR camera is at zero.
