Description
Summary:For producing new luminescent material, we take phosphor material BaLaAlO4 with varying concentration of rare earth Eu3+ ion, synthesized by combustion method at 550°C. The photoluminescence emission spectra exhibit strong sharp peak at 626 nm and other two dominant peak at 613 nm and 596 nm in red region when excited at 280 nm wavelength. The optimum peak observed at 7mol % of Eu3+ dopant and concentration quenching does not occurred. The results of Photoluminescence and CIE chromaticity results supported that Eu3+ doped phosphor is suitable and compatible as red emitting phosphor for industrial applications as WLED.
