Some imidazolyl benzamides as potent antibacterial agents

A series of imidazolyl benzamides containing urea has been efficiently synthesized and evaluated for their antibacterial properties. Some of the molecules exhibited promising antibacterial activity when compared to the reference standard, Ciprofloxacin.
