Summary: | The paper studies the effect of electric arc surfacing modes with T-590-N and EN-60M coated electrodes on the physical, mechanical and operational properties of coatings applied to low-alloy steel 09G2S. It is shown that the characteristics of heat and mass transfer are significantly influenced by the energy parameters of the mode, as well as the algorithm for changing them in the low-frequency range. To assess the degree of influence of energy parameters, thermal imaging was used as part of a research diagnostic complex for registering rapidly occurring heat and mass transfer processes. It is found that modifying the structure of surfaced coatings by electric arc pulsed action allows increasing its uniformity, dispersion, hardness and wear resistance. Changing the energy parameters of the modes reduces the structural inhomogeneity that occurs during surfacing along the coating cross-section by reducing the size of the structural components. |
