Summary: | Instabilities may occur inside turbine control valve during certain circumstances. Instabilities can be a risk for reliable operation of steam turbine. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the research of steam turbine control valves. Doosan Škoda Power (DSPW) uses an air test rig to discover instabilities inside valves. The purpose of this article is to get acquainted with the results of experiment, which are performed during measurement with using Kulite probe (sensitive pressure transducer) mounted in diffuser throat. There can be obtained results in frequency domain from this sensitive pressure transducer. Spectrograms are complex results in the frequency domain as a varies with time. This article identifies regions with significantly high magnitudes correspond to high and low frequency regions. |
