Summary: | The deviation in measurements by a rotational viscometer with an elastic element was considered, which arises as a result of friction in the bearings of the measuring part. The results of determining the error arising due to friction torques in the bearings using ball bearings are presented. Methods of mathematical calculation of the error from friction for some bearing structures are presented. A promising design of the bearings of the measuring part of the rotational viscometer is proposed, which allows reducing the error from friction. The results of the experimental determination of the error from friction in the bearings of the proposed design are presented, confirming the effectiveness of using this design. |
