It was found that, the concentration and volume of zinc ions transform the morphology of struvite-K crystals. However in FT-IR spectroscopy, the vibrational frequencies observed from pure and zinc doped struvite-K crystals, the zinc doped frequencies were found to be slightly different from pure struvite-K crystals. The observed change in the vibrations of zinc doped was due to influence of zinc ions. EDAX techniques revealed that the sample was of a mixed composition. |
