Summary: | The denture is a viable alternative for transferring missing teeth and adjacent tissues, as the PMMA resin has been widely used in dental applications for the manufacture of dentures. The research aims to develop the specifications of the PMMA resin by adding nano-zirconium oxide as a strengthening material and studying the effect of weight ratios Selected (0.2, 0.5, 0.7,1, 3 and 5) to poly-methyl methacrylate resin. Also the influence of mechanical properties (hardness) as well as the (thermal conductivity). The results showed that the hardness reaching its maximum value (85.83) at ratio 0.2 and (87.06) at ratio 3, respectively, while thermal conductivity reaching its maximum value (0.393) at ratio. |
