Description
Summary:An excellent biomass source is the date-palm wastes (especially in Iraq)where it exists in large quantities and does not come in competition with other food crops, thermal conversion techniques provide a suitable method for the production of fuel from date-palm wastes. In our research we used two types of date-palm wastes (leaves and trunks) to produce syngas (Carbon monoxide + hydrogen (CO+ H2)) using gasification technique, then we studied the effect of the operation on the output power for each type of wastes, also, the essential analysis had been made to find the composition, behavior, and the reactions that the operation undergoes. It was found that the output of the leaves and trunks have nearly the same values of output with a slight increase in the case of leaves
