Summary: | This article deals with analysis of mathematical kinetic models (hereinafter MM) of aerobic cultivation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast in deficit of air supply to the cultivator. The proposed MM has two independent equations: for growth of biomass and intake of carbohydrates. This research promotes a deeper understanding of how various factors affect the rate of biological processes. The generalized mathematical model determines specific rate of biomass growth and carbohydrate intake at given values of cultivation temperature, pH of the medium, initial concentration of biomass and carbohydrates in the culture broth, which is essential for technological calculations. |
