Description
Summary:To study the possibilities of pneumatic caving in the working space of shaft blown structures and the possibilities of changing their capacity, the process of interaction of a continuous pulsating jet of a limited supply of air blast with a dense layer of lumpy materials in laboratory conditions was carried out. The research was carried out on a cold model of a vertical bunker. The studies carried out have shown the possibility of changing the unit capacity over a wide range with the use of a pulsating blast, arranged with the help of peripheral tuyere devices oriented in space. At the same time, there is an area of the combination of the main parameters of the layer blowing process (a positive angle of inclination of the tuyeres to the horizon, an increased air blast flow rate of more than 260–300 m3/(m2 h), the frequency of gas flow pulsations up to 10–17 Hz), at which the movement of individual parts accelerates.
