Summary:The competitiveness is the major generalized indicator of activity of industrial enterprises of Russia which is defined by set of factors of internal and external character. Factors of competitiveness are understood as the phenomena and processes of production business activities of the enterprise and social and economic life of society which cause change of production costs, and as a result – the level of its competitiveness. For accounting of a contribution of various factors to forming of level of competitiveness of industrial enterprise methodical approach on the basis of the theory of indistinct sets is offered. The specified approach allows to lead the diverse indistinct factors affecting competitiveness of industrial enterprise to uniform quantitative assessment with use of a mathematical apparatus of the theory of indistinct sets and methods of expert evaluation. Approach is the universal tool for work with the characteristics, hardly formalizable and non-uniform by the nature, influencing indicators of quality evaluation of functioning of objects of management.
