Summary:The paper presents the numerical modeling results of steelmaking and casting processes using the example of electroslag remelting and centrifugal casting, respectively. The peculiarity of electroslag remelting was the use of direct current. In the course of centrifugal casting, the workpiece was hardened with dispersed WC carbides. As the results, the dispersed particles distribution diagrams and the changed the metal drop trajectory inside the slag bath are presented.
