Summary: | The purpose of this work was to study the reparative regeneration of bone tissue with the application of various collagen-containing grafts on the example of the caudal vertebra in rats. The rats were operated on to remove the third caudal vertebra, which in the experimental groups were replaced with connective tissue autograft or gelatin graft. The experiment lasted for 6 months, during which monthly blood sampling was carried out for hematological analysis. At the end of the experiment, a histological assessment of the regeneration zone. As a result of the study, differences were identified during the reparative process in the studied groups. 6 months after the operation to remove the caudal vertebra, there is no complete replacement of the defect area with bone tissue, the central zone of the regenerate is represented by fibrous-muscular zone. Using of fibrous autograft causes accelerated growth of bone tissue, compared with the control group. The use of gelatin-based graft causes the accelerated formation of the scar with the formation of pseudoarthrosis as well as the development of anemic processes. |
