Description
Summary:This study investigates the asymmetric and symmetric circular thermoelastic waves in a homogeneous isotropic material in contact with inviscid liquid at a varying temperature. Based upon this mathematical model subject to various boundary conditions, the secular equations for circular waves in the compact form are derived. The particular cases such as the absence of inviscid liquid and thermal parameters have been obtained from the dispersion relation. Then, the circular waves are computationally modeled to examine the propagation characteristics of waves for aluminum-epoxy composite material. The MATLAB software tools have been employed for numerical computations. This mathematical model develops a relationship between the material constraints and the secular equation, which is a useful mechanism for the circular waves for nondestructive estimation.
