Risk-based approach for the organization of construction supervision of the developer

Industrial and civil construction has a high dynamics and continuous development of various construction processes. In this regard, it is important to apply and study probabilistic approaches in the organization and management of construction to predict possible results of building processes, one of such approaches is risk management. This article provides a brief overview of research in the field of risk management in various areas of construction. The relevance of the research and application of a risk-based approach in the organization and management of construction supervision by the developer is justified. The article classifies construction objects of the "high risk" category into subcategories, the categories for classification of building structures and defects according to the degree of risk are defined. In the article, the main risks of the construction control of the developer are identified and analyzed. The main hazards and their scenarios for various types of construction work are identified. In this study, a method is proposed for calculating the risk of injuries in construction, the risk of defects at the stage of operation of the building and the risk of detecting defects at the construction stage.
