Summary:The article presents the results of studies of existing methods of arrangement of underground spaces during the reconstruction of buildings and structures. For the management of construction production in the construction of underground spaces, it is necessary to optimize methods for the development of underground spaces in urban conditions and the organization of the work of small-sized equipment. Developing the underground infrastructure, it is necessary to apply urban planning measures, develop mechanisms of public and private influence on the development of construction. The range of manufactured equipment is increasing, as well as the technological capabilities of construction equipment are growing. The article presents the classification of construction equipment, which includes various variations depending on the scheme of their operation and device. It is established that every year there is a tendency to increase the use of small-sized equipment in construction, and the leading countries exporting small-sized equipment to the Russian Federation are countries such as Japan and China.
