Based on the experimental results obtained, a conclusion is made about a positive assessment of the energy and environmental efficiency of diesel locomotives when using hydrogen as an additive in the fuel-air mixture. The supply of hydrogen in the amount of 0.5 - 5% of fuel consumption can reduce the level of harmful emissions by 2 - 3.5 times and reduce the specific fuel consumption by 5.2 - 8%. |
