Summary: | The establishment of dynamic characteristics of individual assemblies of the product is necessary at the stages of testing product prototypes, their modernization or methods of fixing, since these are design dynamic characteristics that determine in most cases its reliability and service life. The definition of dynamic characteristics on prototypes and layout samples allows excluding those forced and natural vibrations of design elements that can cause resonant vibrations when the set internal and external forces are applied to the design. The article analyzes and compares such methods to perform tests to determine resonant frequencies in the design as: changing the frequency of sinusoidal vibrations; the method of shock excitation; determining natural frequencies using finite element analysis; indication of resonance by increasing vibration noise. All methods are compared with each other in terms of the complexity of preparing and performing tests, the complexity of processing the obtained data, the requirement for testing equipment. Brief recommendations on how to improve the accuracy in the application of each of the methods and use based on economic benefits are provided. |
