description Industrial development is growing rapidly every year. This requires companies to increase the productivity of the company, especially for mushroom factories. Green productivity is a strategy to increase productivity and preserve the environment and impact social economic development. This research was conducted using the application of the green productivity method to increase the production of mushroom media factories. The main discussion in the mushroom media factory is to accelerate and increase the production of mushrooms. This study aims to apply and implement green productivity methodologies in the mushroom factory industry to overcome and improve existing problems. Green Productivity uses 3 tools related to green productivity, namely material balance, eco mapping. Through the results of material analysis, most of the production waste is wood dust which cannot be reused and also plastic if the mushroom media fails to produce. The production waste is better collected and sold than burned. Through the eco mapping analysis, it is figured out that the area of the milling machine was identified the area of producing the most pieces of wood powder residue. The proposed plant layout using the eco mapping method by considering the factory workflow scheme and the distance between stations. As a result, new lay out design has significantly improved as travel distance decreased if compared with the existing lay out.
