Synthesis new indole Schiff bases and evaluation their cytotoxicity against HepG2 and SK-GT2 cell line

Two new Schiff Bases successfully synthesized from reaction of 2-(5-Fluror-3, 3-dimethyl-1,3-dihydro-indol-2-ylidene)-malonaldehyde (2) with 2,4-dichloro aniline and 2-methyl aniline. The chemical structures of the new Schiff Bases were identifying by spectroscopic methods like, (FT-IR, 1H-NMR and A...

Description
Summary:Two new Schiff Bases successfully synthesized from reaction of 2-(5-Fluror-3, 3-dimethyl-1,3-dihydro-indol-2-ylidene)-malonaldehyde (2) with 2,4-dichloro aniline and 2-methyl aniline. The chemical structures of the new Schiff Bases were identifying by spectroscopic methods like, (FT-IR, 1H-NMR and APT 13C-NMR). The biological applications of new compounds were tested for their cytotoxicity activity against breast cancer cell line type HepG2 and SK-GT2 with different concentrations. The biological activity test shown that the synthesized Schiff Bases have promising cytotoxicity activity against HepG2 and SK-GT2 cell line.
