The study on structural, vibrational and morphological analysis of L-tryptophan-Fumaric acid nanofibers

Electrospinning is a feasible process for fabricating the continuous fibers with diameter ranging from several micrometers to few nanometres. Electrospinning technique is used to synthesize L-tryptophan- Fumaric acid (LTF) embedded with poly (vinyl) alcohol (PVA) nanofibers. The structural analysis...

Description
Summary:Electrospinning is a feasible process for fabricating the continuous fibers with diameter ranging from several micrometers to few nanometres. Electrospinning technique is used to synthesize L-tryptophan- Fumaric acid (LTF) embedded with poly (vinyl) alcohol (PVA) nanofibers. The structural analysis of L-Tryptophan-Fumaric acid – PVA nanofiber was carried using (P-XRD). The surface morphological study of L-Tryptophan-Fumaric acid – PVA nanofibers and its rudimentary composition were examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX). The characteristic charge transfers functional groups present in the title nanofibers have been confirmed by Fourier transform infra red (FTIR).
